Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana
Married Non-Joint Accounts
My wife racked up a ton of credit individual (non-joint accounts)card charges that she is unable to pay for. The house and car notes are in my name only. Can creditors come after me to collect on her debts?

No. If they do, I would call that a violation of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
