Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

When I was married I was unemployed and covered by my husband's health insurance. I had major surgery and he was supposed to pay the bill. He didn't and since then we got divorced. I just received a collection notice regarding the bill. Can I take him to small claims court to make him pay?

It sounds like this was part of your divorce agreement. So, you need to go back to the court where the divorce occurred. You'll need to take this to your attorney.
