medical bill

my husband had a med.bill from 2003 went to collections he is now deceased since 2005. am i responsible for this bill it is now on my credit report.

Yo0u might be but too hard to tell with the facts as given. Credit reports create a responsibility for a debt. If you signed off as the responsible party for the bill, then that means you are responsible for the debt. I suggest sending a letter to the credit reporting agency disputing the debt.
