Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

A few months ago I rented a car. I bought liability for the car rather than full cover. I ended up getting into an accident with the car & now I have to pay $2000 which I haven't been able to do for months. They are warning me that they will refer me to a collections agency if I dont pay. What can I do to settle this?!

You probably need to make arrangements to pay, even if it's over time. You might also submit this claim to your own insurance company since you might be covered under your own policy.
