overdue credit

we financed our heat pump through a company 12 months ago, we are getting ready to file bk. The finance company is threatning to pull out the heat pump - can they do that? The finance co. and the contractor are seperate companies. I had good credit when it was put in.

Not having the agreement you signed in front of me, I would have to say - probably. I suggest talking to your bankruptcy attorney about this matter.
