Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I received notice from a collector for a $350 pharmacy bill I owe, but was never billed for. May I pay pharmacy or must I pay the collector? My position is they should have billed me first and they can then refund the collector what was paid for the debt.

Sorry---doesn't work that way. Pay the collector. Tell your pharmacy that you're not happy with them.
