Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana
I just recieved a Medical Collection Notice from service back in 2000 from a pedicatric doctor. I had not recieved any bills since 2001. Now out of the blue, a collection agency is calling demanding full payment now. I dont even know if I can finds records from that date. Can they wait this long before starting collections? I live in Indiana.

Assuming that the medica collection is for services rendered in Indiana and that you have not made payments since the last bill and based on the facts presented, probably not, Send a letter telling them to cease and desist as the statute of limitations has run.
