Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana
I rented from someone about 10 years ago (2007), i failed to pay my remaining rent, i moved out of town in 2012 and moved back at the end of 2013, just recently started a new job in which my old landlord found me, he has taken me to court as of March 23, i missed the court date due to my sons accident, now i have a warrant out for me and the only way of getting out of it is to pay $500 to post bond, i even have a bankruptcy lawyer but our case has not been actually filed in court, we are in the process of getting all our paperwork together, so my question is, is there a statue of limitation here, or does my bankruptcy case protect me although it has not been completely filed and if so what do i need to do

The bankruptcy solves everything. Go in there and kick some butt to get it moving.
