Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

my son traded his truck for a jeep. the dealership filled out ap for financing and told him he was approved. he left with the jeep drove it a week and discovered that it had a cracked block. two days later he got a letter from chase in the mail stating that he was not approved for the financing. can he take back the jeep and get his truck back?

That depends upon what the sales agreement says pertaining to the purchase. IF the sale was specifically and in writing contingent upon the loan approval, then he can return the truck. If not, then he can't. He would be best served by consulting with an attorney.
