Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I went to a university but couldn't pay the tuition on time. They kicked me out of school because of non-payment. I wasn't able to finish my classes that semester. Now they are demanding I pay the bill even though I didn't actually get to finish classes and are threatening legal action if I don't pay. Is this legal for a university to demand payment for services not received?

It is possible. Usually there are terms and conditions to which you agree when you enroll. The school made available a product, for which you promised payment. When you didn't pay, they have a right to suspend access to the product. Perhaps you should contact the Bursar's Office and try to work out a mutually acceptable agreement on this.
