Wage Garnishment
My wages are about to be garnished for the remaining balance on a repossessed car that I was the joint signer on with my ex-husband. In our divorce decree he is responsible for this debt, can I sue him for the amount that they are garnishing me for?

Yes-you may take him back to the Court where you received your decree and ask the court to hold hi in contempt for failure to pay the debt-you should be able to recoup what you paid under the garnishment as well as obtaining an order directing him to pay the balance. You may be able to recover your atty fees as well
