Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

My wife is currently a customer of a rent to own company that I am employed at, recently the manager put a television on rent in her name without my knowledge or hers. No agreement is signed by any party. This now shows an open line of credit on her credit report. Is this legal for a company to open a line of credit without customer consent? This happens to a lot of customers and now including my wife.

Cut the drama. Just demand the company remove the television and charges for it.
