Won $89,000 judgement in Illinois & collect in Indiana.

I won a back child support judgement around $89,000 and I need to enforce it around Terre Haute, Indiana. Do I need to get a collections lawyer from Terre Haute or can I use one from Hammond area? I live in a western suburb of Chicago. My ex is self employed. What is a fair contingency fee to pay?

You should retain an attorney in the county where your ex lives and or operates his business. Does your ex have major assets to collect on? As far as the contingency fee you probably should set the fee at 25-30 percent.
