writ to collect a debt
I had a judgement against me for about 9k. I now have a writ stating that a sheriff will come collect my property for payment.what is defined as personal property and is there a limit as to what and how much they can take.If I have property belonging to a friend or family member at my residence is that property also at risk.lastly can my wifes property be taken

Sounds like you have received a Writ of Execution. Not used very much any more because you need to have personal property worth more than $4,000.00 in your name alone.
If it is your debt, then no one else's property may be taken.
