Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Well im 21years old and my ex is 17 and shes pregnant, her dad said we could have sex but she moved to her moms and when she cam back for vacation during the summer to stay with her dad she got pregnant. we live in Indiana. Am i at risk of being charged with statutory rape?

Since no Indiana lawyers have answered your question I will give it a shot. As far as I can tell, the age of consent in Indiana is sixteen. Your ex must have been at least sixteen when she became pregnant, so I don't see how you could be charged with statutory rape for that encounter. However, if there is evidence of other encounters before she reached legal age, it may still be possible to charge for those incidents.
Yes, age of consent is 16. If she was 16 when you had sex, and it was in Indiana,no criminal problem exists.
