Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
My 15 yo daughter was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and resisting law enforcement because she ran from the police. I have since found out that she actually stole the car that she was in. Does she admit to stealing the car if asked or can she still be charged with that after the fact? The court appointed attorney does not even ask us any questions, just agrees with what the judge says. We just don't know what we should do.
