Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Alternate Misdemeanor Sentence
I am from Indiana and this is where this took place as well. If someone plead guilty to a D felony and the judge accepted the plea but sentenced them as an Alternate Misdemeanor, does this mean they have still been convicted of a felony or is it a Misdemeanor conviction?
