Need attorney for post conviction relief hearing asap for son incarcerated
My son has a court date on November 13, 2002 for a (PCR) Post Conviction Relief hearing. We need someone who can represent him in court at that time. I realize this is very short notice but I just found out myself. He has been incarcerated since Jan. 1995 and will be 29 in December. Please consider helping him and if you agree, what is the approx. fee I can expect to be charged? My son and I will do everything in my power to assist you with anything you may need.

Yes I will represent him on the following conditions: 1) $1000.00 retainer fee up front & $120 per hour; 2) I need to speak to him personally in order to decid whether has a claim under the UPCPA and if I will reprensent him; 3) A fee agreement must be executed by him and you with me; I can work with you on the retainer fee if necessary.
I don't have much time to determine whether the claim is appropriate so I'd need you to come into my office asap. Call me at 345-3817 now to make an appointment to come in an see me about this. DO NOT WAIT! if I don't hear from you by Wed, November Nov 6, 2002, I will not be able to be ready and to represent him. Call me now!
I need to know who filed the UPCPA for him or on his behalf, is there a transcript of the trial and sentencing hearing to use in the hearing, Who was the sent'g judge, How has he done at the pen, any write-ups, etc. Call me! Timothy J. Gass...
