Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Battery
I recieved a summons for court on 10-14-08 for something that happened on 07-26-08.I was not arrested at the time,nor did the police officer say anything about charges being filed against me.The summons saya I have been charged with Battery and must be in court on 10-28-08.Can they do that?
