Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
my boyfriend was charged with 2 D felonies for domictic battary and stranglation on me but it did not happen i lied about the whole thing so my part was dropped but the state picked it up will he still be charged even though i lied and i talked with the victim advocant that works with the procutoer and i told her what happen. will he still be charged?

The prosecutor does not have to believe you are telling the truth now. It is ALWAYS the state's decision to pursue a criminal charge. He can still be charged. If he is not, then you probably will be for lying originally.
