Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I have been charged with invasion of privicy in Indiana, I have no clue why this person has charged me with this, this is my first offense, i have not even had a speeding ticket, i received a restraining order with my daughters address and her middle name, my first and last name and yet another persons birthdate, the restraining order said i could not go to the plaintiff's place of business, which is a place i go often, not even knowing the person who filed this along with all the mistakes i figured it was a mistake well it was not, i got arrested on a friday and had to spend 3 nights in jail before i got out on a 1,000.00 bond, my question is should i get a lawyer and what should i expect if i pleed quilty just to get this over with and to try and save money? and advise would be greatly appreciated.

Your explanation is rather confusing Nevertheless, it is very important to avoid having a criminal record. You should contact a local attorney who would be in the best position to know what kind of plea agreement can be obtained in your county. There may even be a chance that you can get a deferral or conditional discharge and keep a conviction off of your record..
