Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I have been charged with invasion of privicy in Indiana, I have no clue why this person has charged me with this, this is my first offense, i have not even had a speeding ticket, i received a restraining order with my daughters address and her middle name, my first and last name and yet another persons birthdate, the restraining order said i could not go to the plaintiff's place of business, which is a place i go often, not even knowing the person who filed this along with all the mistakes i figured it was a mistake well it was not, i got arrested on a friday and had to spend 3 nights in jail before i got out on a 1,000.00 bond, my question is should i get a lawyer and what should i expect if i pleed quilty just to get this over with and to try and save money? and advise would be greatly appreciated.

You should contact a local attorney who would be in the best position to know what kind of plea agreement can be obtained in your county. There may even be a chance that you can get a deferral or conditional discharge and keep a conviction off of your record..
