contributing to minor
if a minor says you gave them alcohol 3 months prior is this grounds for a contributing charge?

Is it "grounds", yes. Giving alcohol to a minor is illegal. Will it be enough evidence for a prosecutor to actually file a charge, probably, but not definitely. It depends on the prosecutor and the rest of the circumstances.
