Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I have been convicted of a class C felony, and under the terms of my plea agreement, I am allowed to take medications as perscribed by my doctor. I take xanax 1 mg three times a day. I also am in need of some painful dental work in the future. As a condition of my agreement I had to have a drug assessment. The organization the therapist sent me to says in order to participate in the program I have to stop taking the medications I am perscribed. If I do not, I will be expelled from the program.
Is this legal? Can they actually take medications that help me away from me?

I would get the "organization" in contact with my doctor to see how this can get solved. If you can't get that done, then petition the court for guidance as to what to do.
