Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I was convicted of a dui with bodily injury. It was about 9 years ago. I have not been in no trouble since then. I was hoping to try to buy a bar in my area that was closed do to poor management, will this cause me any problems or will I need to get the felony reduced to a misdemeanor.

I suggest that you contact the Commission. I know that on the server's application they ask for DUI info for ten years. However, if you already have liquor license and get a coviction, you can lose your license for a year, but not permanently. Logically, if you would not lose it permanently how can you be barred from getting one?
