Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I have to go to court to answer a contempt of court charge for missing a court date, the code cited was repealed in 2008. Although I have a valid reason for missing the court date do I have to offer a defense against a repealed criminal code.

You have to offer a valid reason for not showing up. The code has nothing to do with it.
