Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
My daughter let someone use her bank account to have an IRS check direct deposited. Now this person is trying to file charges on her for taking th money out (for them). Can they do this? This person hispanic and the father of her child. Pretty sure that the money from IRS was gotten illegally

It is unlikely that a prosecutor wil get in the middle of this dispute between a boyfriend and a girlfriend, but if she is prosecuted, your best bet is to make sure she has a good criminal attorney in your community representing her.
