Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
My daughter went to my ex-husbands sisters home for half the summer and when she returned the aunt kept her $599 cell phone and some of her clothes. How can I press charges to get these items returned? She lives in Colorado and we live in Indiana

Recognizing that there is likely more to the story than this, a theft has to be reported in the jurisdiction where it occurred. If the aunt stole the phone and the clothes from your daughter while in Colorado, report it to the county sheriff's office there.
