Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Depsosition
My husband was arrested for dealing and since we lived together they also arrested me at the house. All i got was maintaingin a common nuiscance and i can get mine dropped to a misdemenor. They found drugs in our house and my husband wants me to say that i called someone to bring them there. Is it possible to get sentenced on my charge and write a depsition to his lawyer so he wont get as much time, and if i do after im sentenced can i also be charged for stating i asked the person to bring the drugs?

You are not permitted to lie;perjury is a felony. Your husband is soliciting you to obstruct justice. Please talk to your lawyer about this, and if you have not yet hired or been appointed one, get one before doing anything else.
