Re: Domestic Battery and Guns

Unless convicted of a felony or handgun charge, one may be able to posses firearms. However, if one is on probation, there may be a condisiton of probation that the person is prohibited from doing so until probation has ended. If so, one will be in violattion of probabtion if they use or have any firearms. I would suggest that the person you are speaking of consult with the attorney who represented them or their probabtion officer. This is not something to second guess.
