Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I used my former employees keys to return the keys. While they were closed I was in and out in minutes. Is that considered breaking and entering when I used a key?

If you did not have permission from the rightful owner or tenant, it would be Residential Entry, a Class D Felony. ( I assume you meant your former employer, not employee?)
