Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

My ex-husband and I filed charges against my current boyfriend back in March over some items that he had taken and pawned. Later we all settled the matter privately, and my boyfriend made restitution above and beyond the original amount. All parties involved were more than satisfied with the outcome. Basically it was a huge misunderstanding that should never have gone to the police. However, 6 months later, my boyfriend was arrested over this matter, somehow its up to the prosecuting attorney what to do with the case. Is there anything that can be done to drop these charges? Both my ex and I have written letters explaining everything to the PA, and I would like to know if there is anything else that can be done to help him.

1. Tell his attorney all the facts.

2. Show up at sentencing to explain if he is convicted or pleads guilty.

3. Be prepared to be prosecuted if you misstated anything knowingly when you originally filed the report.
