My fiance is being held on dealing charges but his motion of discovery states he was only arrested for possession can he beat the case

His Motion for discovery would have been a piece of paper that his attorney prepared. The response to that, which includes police reports, etc., is the discovery itself. Your question cannot be answered without knowing more.
