Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
My fiance went to prison for dealing cocaine, did his two years and got out on house arrest in Laporte Indiana. The mother of his child lied on him and said he beat her. The police didnt take any pictures of her nor did they arrest him that night or even speak to me as i was a witness. He got a letter in the mail of some sort saying he has another charge of battery. He got scared of going back to prison for something he didnt do that he cut his house arrest bracelet off and left the state. He has since been caught and is now back in county jail. How much time is he facing from the original charge of dealing cocaine and any other new charges?

No way to know without knowing exactly what his sentence was, and the judges general attitude in that court system. Check with his attorney in the new case, and if he does not have one yet, he should ask for one.
