Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Forms to File
I signed a plea agreement for battery for a 1 yr suspended sentence, because the hispanic translator told me that if I did not I would go to jail for 3 years. He did not inform me that if I signed this, I could be deported. Now I need to file a Modification of Sentence or Post Conviction Relief, so that I am not deported. Do I need an attorney to do this and which paper do I file.
