Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I was with some friends outside at a park and marijuana was being smoked. The police arrived and I eventually told him that I in fact did smoke the marijuana. I was not issued any sort of citation or charged with anything, but am now forced to go to a judicial hearing for my college. Can I state that I do not recall confessing to the act, and that i did not in fact smoke the marijuana? Does this depend on whether or not the police officer filed a report? What are my chances of getting off?

Any attorney who would advise you to lie, as you appear to be seeking, would be acting unethically. If you wish to plead the 5th Amendment, go ahead. Since I have no idea of what evidence the college has, I have no way to tell you how strong that evidence will prove to be.
