Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
my girlfriend was convited of a b felony and got 2yrs probation and 10yrs back up time she had violated her probation and was placed on gps house arrest for 35 days and then was suppose to be sent to a half way house. She was at my house and they came to do a search of the house and found a gun between the matresses where her and her daughter was laying I knew the gun was there but had forgotten about it and she did not know it was there. They arrested her for a violation being a felon in possesion of a firearm. Is there any way she can get out of new charges

Yes. Go to court and if the jury believes you about it being your gun, and her when she claims ignorance, she would be found not guilty. However, her attorney needs to make that decision with her, not you from this answer.
