Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

My grandmother's ex son-in-law has been visiting her, and my aunt found out that my grandmother's been giving him money. My aunt doesn't think that my grandmother should be giving him money, so she's told the son-in-law that he is not to ever visit my grandmother unless supervised by another family member. Since my aunt is the homeowner of the the house that my grandmother lives in and has expressed a desire for him not to be in the house unsupervised, my aunt wants to file a restraining order against him should she find him visiting my grandmother unsupervised again. Incidentally, he's never made any threats or been violent towards anyone. Can she file a restraining order against him on these grounds?

As a tenant of the property (even if for free), your grandmother can see who she wants to see. If your aunt does not like the people your grandmother invites, she can evict your grandmother. Your grandmother can do what she wants to with her money, unless she has become incompetent, in which case a guardianship should be considered.
