Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I hired a lawyer . He will not let me talk about my case .. its like he is a mind reader .. I sat in his office with my witness Tuesday and all I got out of my mouth was "but", "um", "ahh" ,"oohh" never complete words . Finally I over spoke him and said you need to let me explain .. things have changed since we last talked. He got mad at me and told me that if I didn't stop interrupting him he was going to take himself of my case. My witness finally spoke out and said .. "Look, she needs to let you know some new and possible valueable information about the case " .. he finally backef off and to let me tell him what I wanted to say . When he found out what it was .. it WAS useful to my case.

My question is .. should my attorney allow me to speak EVEN if it is irrevelant to the case? How does he know until he hears what I have to say?

Also, everytime I go to my lawyers office .. he wants to discuss my case in the waiting room and not in his office. Finally this last visit , I told him ..that I wanted to talk in private , just like I see him do with his other clients. I feel I deserve the same privacy as anyone else .. no matter how big or small my case is. What do you think about this ?
