Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
My husband was sentenced to 20 years for two counts of aggravated battery Is this sentence unreasonable he has a slight record but only 1 conviction of narcotics should we file for an appeal?

You should discuss this with an attorney who handles appeals in private and/or with the attorney who represented him. Those people will be in the best position to advise you why the Judge arrived at the sentence that was handed down. Also you have a limited amount of time in which to appeal so you should speak to an attorney immediately.
