Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
When is it illegal to film federal/state/local police while acting 'in the line of duty'? How much is up to the officer's consent or at their discretion?
This is asked primarily in regards to hypothetical situations in which an individual wants to document perceived abuse of power, or simply record a traffic stop (not produce a film with intent to profit financially).
