Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Inappropriately Drawing-down on Someone
I am an 18 year old dependent living with my parents in Indiana and I have a personal protection permit to carry a handgun. If I were to draw-down, or point my gun at someone when I should not have, would my parents be liable for my actions?

Re: Inappropriately Drawing-down on Someone
Every case is different and each must be reviewed to make any real determination. However, unless the facts reveal otherwise, your parents are not likely to be held criminally liable for your actions. There may be civil issues which the party threatened my consider as to both you and your parents. Again, all the facts must be reviewed before a real answer can be given, and those given in your question were very limited.
