You can petition the state police to limit access to your criminal history to only criminal justice agencies if more than fifteen (15) years have passed since when you were discharged from probation, imprisonment, or parole. A lawyer who practices in the area of criminal law and expungement may be able help. The contact information for my office is available by clicking on that link which appears with this answer. Many people also ask trusted friends, family and co-workers to recommend local attorneys that have personal knowledge of and experience with and many communities have local bar associations which can direct you to a qualified attorney.
