In a jury trial for a misdemeanor does the verdict have to be unanimous amoung the 12 jurors?

Misdemeanor trials in Indiana only have 6 jurors and they must reach a unanimous verdict of guilty or not guilty. If they don't, a mistrial is declared and the case is tried again.
