Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Is it legal to use deadly chemicals to kill a package thief? Like putting some kind of chemical that kills or sickens upon contact when a package thief comes into contact with contents? I heard someone keeps getting their packages stolen and I was wondering the legality of that... We're all a little crazy on the inside, right? Unsure of how to categorize this so i chose criminal law.

Of course it's not legal. What you describe would be first-degree murder -- premeditated and carefully planned. There's nothing magical about using chemicals that would make it legal. That the victim might be a thief doesn't help either.
