Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I lent my father's car to my sister nearly two weeks ago and she has dissappeared. I have filed a missing person report on her, but was told by the police that they could do little because she is 40 years old. At what point do we consider the car stolen?

If you lent it out without your father's permission, it was stolen at that moment. If you had his permission, it would depend on when you and your sister agreed to its return.
