Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

how long does it take to transfer probation from state to state? i am trying to get my brother transfered back to in. from az. He has be convicted of distrabution of drugs, and has 2 past convictions of battery, he said something along the lines of, they took two felonys and put them together, not really sure how that worked. He has done three mouths in jail, was soppose to do 6 mouths , out early on good behaveure. he has 1600.00$ in restatution he needs to pay, and has three years of probation. he got out of jail in dec. but has failed both of the drug test in jan.and feb. i have step in because i love him dearly and i am his last shot. next is prison and he knows it. There is no one else that can help him, mother is to sick, dad is dead, and are grandparents have passed to. i have maid it quit clear with my brother that this is not a game, and that he needs to show the courts and his probation officer that he want to change and get his life back. so he has another drug test in 2 weeks and has promised me he would prove to me and the courts he want s to come home, i ask him to pass the drug test to show he wants to change, and in my efferts to transfer him back home. so we can get him into the classes he needs to take his life back. is there a way for me to speed thing up, so he does not get caught up with the wrong people again. he has no one but me. how do i get the courts to pay attintion to my reqest a.s.a.p.? i have been in contact with his probation officer, and explained my brothers back ground. she told me to give her 2 weeks to start the paper work. she seems to understand the situation, and i understand that my brother needs to show great effert in wanting to change. do you think i my need a attorny in this case? sorry about spelling not so good on the computers (: thanks so much if you all can help.

You can't speed this up yourself at all. Let the system work through the request for a move to Indiana.
