Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I have an outstanding on-line payday loan with a company from California. I am from Indiana.
I had all intentions of paying the lona off, however, due to financial contraints, i was unable to pay. I have moved since the loan was taken and now i have been threatened to be issued an arrest warrant if i cannot pay bt 12pm today. I am a nervous wreck as i cannot afford to be in jail for a month. May i be arrested for this if i am not able to pay? I have tried to set up installment payments with the Investigator calling me and my family, however, they wont accept. Please advise.

In Indiana this would not be criminal, but you need to check with a California attorney also.
