Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I was given a paper arrest for indecent exposure. I have never had any prior involvement with the law except speeding and parking tickets. Will this factor decrease my chances of going to jail? What will the outcome (charges) most likely be? Is it possible to get this expunged from my record? I am wanting to join the army, will the judge and/or prosecutor take this into consideration? Also, my boyfriend who is currently in active duty army was also given a paper arrest for indecent exposure, will the judge and/or prosecutor also take this into consideration that he could be given a dishonorable discharge from the army if convicted? Thank you.
