My son was stopped and the car he was driving was searched and ''pipe'' was found, the officer wrote him a ticket. The car was not his, now he must appear in court for an initial hearing, do we need to hire a lawyer?

Re: paraphanelia possession
Yes because an attorney can help guide your son through the process. He may have some defenses. This is a case that might need to be tried, and an attorney can present a better defense than your son alone.
