I had a person threaten me and say he would kill me if I ever took business away from him again in the future. Is this against the law?

In Indiana a person who communicates a threat to another person, with the intent that the other person engage in conduct against the other person's will commits intimidation, a misdemeanor or in certain circumstances a felony.
